I got it for electronics, splinters and to look at things with the kids. Its heavy, solid scope with great optics. The 4k camera is great with live view and I have it on a big monitor. The only thing is the small screw that holds it from sliding down the post. When I added the camera I could not keep it from sliding down with the added weight. They have a knob which is pictured on a screw that has a small rubber tip.I think the rubber tip is just to small or you really have to ratchet down on it. I just did not trust it.. It would slowly slide. I purchased a pole vice that has rubber (pictured) and it holds it fine and allows the scope to pivot freely. I would purchase the scope again. Its Great!
