AmScope – 3.5X-45X Simul-Focal Stereo Lockable Zoom Microscope on Dual Arm Boom Stand – SM-4NTPX

Got this in the other day and finally got time to unbox and assemble it. First of all its overall very nice. Comes with the 10x / 20x and can zoom into about 45x. This is more than enough to work on all types of electronics. The scope seems very well built and sturdy. Bought this off a recommendation from Louis but a slightly cheaper model. So far I highly recommend it. The construction is very solid and looks to be of high quality. This is the first scope I have ever owned.Some additional things you will want along with it – 1. The LED light 2. The rubber eye pieces. A option would also be a camera if you need to take pics or movies of what you are looking at for others.Cons : Well, The main hight adjustment on the base is not geared. You have to move it up / down manually. But this is really nothing because once you have it basically set your not apt to move it from there. Other than that it would be nice to get the rubber eye guards a long with this model.Pros: Excellent viewing quality. Very crisp and clear. Adjustments feel nice and smooth with no jerky behavior.
