Much of the initial setup is fairly intuitive. But I am not a professional videographer. However, I do my own marketing for a real estate development, and have designed the website and filled it with stills and video clips. Here are my insights into how to do timelapse with the S60 using a later model of the iPhone. No easy way to find anything out there describing it.So I have a 3.5 mm audio cord, mono, and bought a small adaptor, 3.5 mm to lightning, on Amazon, and plugged it into the far right port on the S60.I have a SmallRig cage for my iPhone that is just perfect for this, and a small ball tripod head. This allows elegant attachment to the S60. I plug the cord in, making sure that it is free of the interior workings of the slider.I have the Toprig app installed on an iPad, and the Bluetooth connection process is always a bit glitchy initially, but the remote function works flawlessly. The time-lapse required the cord, though. So I set things up, and it faithfully does the intervalometer thing. The motor is incredibly smooth and quiet. I’m eager to try it with my Fuji XT-2.Now for some vertical filming. When the unit powers off and the S60 is tilted significantly, gravity will overcome any distance and take your camera or phone to the bottom of the run, so be careful. No brakes!
