At first the table on mine wasn’t locking, but check it out…The assembly directions in the manual are just incorrect, that’s crazy! no wonder why so many people are having this same problem. Duh! Because like me they were simply following directions. Woops! In addition to the typed instructions the product photos and illustrations also show the table lock installed from the wrong side. Same thing with all the photos on Amazon’s product page.To fix the problem with the table sliding down and not locking in position, simply reinstall the locking screw gizmo on the opposite side. Do not follow the instructions in the owners manual, they aren’t steering you straight! For good measure I took a photo of it installed on the RIGHT side. It’s about as easy to fix as it gets.I keep imagining somebody working as a higher up for this company looking totally distraught and defeated having a really bad day whenever this problem was first discovered.. Pretty amateur stuff really. It doesn’t look good. Man oh man, but what a classic SNAFU. I think it’s friggin hilarious.
