I did the head gaskets on my duramax due to an external coolant leak. Everything turned out great and the head studs give not only peace of mind but also higher boost capacity and resale value. Oh and don’t forget they are multi use whereas the head bolts are one time use tty. I only turn about 500hp and 1k ft lb tq but it is well contained.
