This works exactly as I hoped, making the bow stick more tactile and grippy and reducing pain/cramping in the thumb. I have tried both the black and semi-clear versions and found the black one to be slightly grippier under the thumb. There’s a bit of a knack to putting them on but if you’re patient you will get there in the end. Doesn’t last particularly long – my thumbnail tends to cut through the rubber after a few days, but it takes a while for this hole to become big enough to be inconvenient, and when it does you can rotate the grip 45-90 degrees so you get fresh rubber under the thumb again. In the past they’ve lasted me about 3 months averaging 2-3 hours practice a day. Will continue ordering as I am pleased with the impact it has on my playing
